Jeffrey Hockersmith
As President of Jor·née, Jeffrey is responsible for managing and overseeing all company operations and future strategic positioning.
Mr. Hockersmith has over 30 years’ experience in meeting management and incentive recognition programs and has risen through Jor·née’s corporate ranks with previous positions as Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Marketing, and Vice President of Operations.
Today, Jeffrey’s hands-on approach, experience, and insight benefit each client. Through his tenure at Jor·née, more than 1000 successful programs have been operated throughout all regions of the world.
Active in the industry, Mr. Hockersmith is a regular speaker on meeting management, incentive travel, and outsourcing trends to the hospitality programs of major universities. In addition, Jeffrey shares his experience and expertise with various industry advisory boards.
Jeffrey attended Pennsylvania State University at State College, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in School of Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1981.
Christopher McDonald
As Executive Vice President for Jor·née, Christopher is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of Jor·née’s corporate meeting planning and incentive divisions. He is strongly involved in shaping strategic direction for Jor·née.
Mr. McDonald most recently served as Director of Operations for Jor·née, a post he was named to in 2001. Chris’ experience in operation over 800 successful meetings, incentive programs and events in over 40 countries throughout the globe demonstrates his creativity and attention to detail when developing a customized itinerary for each customer.
Prior to joining Jor·née, Mr. McDonald advanced through many operational positions in the Hospitality Industry. His most recent position was the Associate Director of Catering & Convention Services for the Eden Roc Resort & Spa in Miami Beach. During his tenure Chris was an active member in the Miami City Chamber of Commerce, SITE, and the Meeting Planning Institute. Mr. McDonald was recognized for his outstanding efforts in the hotel industry as well as the local community.
Chris attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Resort Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
